Permo forte underlay and Wallint 50 vapour control layer have been used in one of the latest projects to feature on Channel 4's Grand Designs. Self-builder and bricklayer Paul Rimmer and his wife bought a one and a half acre paddock on the boarder of Bolton and the West Pennine moors and set to work designs their dream, state-of-the-art timber frame eco-home. With assistance on airtightness from Technical Manager Graham Copson the two membranes were used on the project.Wallint 50 offers a vapour resistance of 250MNsg in keeping with the stringent requirements of the Code of Practice for airtightness of ceilings in pitched roofs, BS9250.
