Trapac Snow Guards for Chelsea Barracks development

The first phase of construction of 448 homes, including 123 designated ‘affordable’, began recently at the former Chelsea Barracks, eight years after it was sold by the MoD for almost £1 billion. The three blocks of up to eight storeys designed by architects Squire and Partners, has seen Trapac Tile and Snow Guards specified for the ‘super-prime’ 13-acre site. They provide an easy-to-fit means of preventing tile fragments or accumulated snow from falling to the ground. Suitable for installation with flat or profiled concrete interlocking tiles, support brackets are linked using grid connectors and need no additional support batten.
