More Information
Part of The Specialist membrane range, Permo Air is Klober's most popular roof membrane. Air is a low resistance air-open roof underlay, suitable for pitched roofs. It is the ideal solution where there is a high risk of condensation forming in the roofspace; particularly during the drying out period of a building, making Permo Air the perfect solution for new builds. Permo Air roof membrane is available with or without self-adhesive tape, which creates a durable water and airtight seal, to reduce energy loss and provide strong protection against winds. Permo Air is BBA approved and NHBC accepted without the need for additional high-level ventilation, saving time and cost.

Installation
- Permo Air should be installed in line with the details set out in the BBA Certificate and in accordance with BS5534
- An unsupported underlay should provide a drape between rafters sufficient to ensure that water will run away from the batten fixing nail penetrations allowing draining from the eaves gutter
- Contact between the membrane and the roof covering should be avoided during and after installation
- Should be laid with a maximum drape of 15mm
- An underlay support tray should be used at eaves to avoid ponding behind the fascia board and to provide a drip into the guttering
Area of application
- Suitable for Cold and Warm Roofs
- Wind zones 1-3 with battened headlap. All wind zones with taped headlap
