What does your typical day look like?

Working as an Internal Account Manager means I’m responsible for managing a portfolio of companies across the north of the UK. I spend the first part of my day planning and catching up on emails but from then on, each day can differ immensely. My role involves close collaboration with customers to ensure their business goals are met, as well as meeting their expectations of service. It’s this variation that keeps me inspired and engaged.

I’m lucky enough to be able to speak to a wide range of people in different positions from branch managers and directors to procurement teams. They all have their own needs and style of communication, and I find it particularly rewarding when we hit the ground running and collaboratively reach shared goals.

How long have you worked at Klober?

I’m a newbie! Prior to joining Klober my career in customer service and sales spans 16 years. I feel my experience has equipped me with various transferable skills which will allow me to thrive in the roofing industry.

What’s been your career highlight?

It’s been a real highlight to join the Klober team and I’m proud of the positive impression I have made so far. Specifically, nearly doubling my sales commitment target was a real standout moment. Given that I’m in my earlier days, I hope I’ll have many more highlights in the years to come.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Klober?

From warehouse through to management, all teams have mutual respect for how we contribute to wider business goals. This is one of my favourite things about working at Klober, for sure. I think it’s a rarity to find such a supportive organisation, so I really feel I’ve lucked in! The support is excellent and genuine, which helps us work together effectively but excel individually.

What’s your favourite Klober product and why?

It’d have to be Wakaflex because it's such an innovative product. Plus, it’s fun and easy to work with! If you could teach your younger self one thing, what would it be and why? I’d tell my younger self to see the good in even the smallest steps because these are just as important as reaching the end goal. Too often we fail to give ourselves credit for our progression if it doesn't pan out the way we anticipated or planned.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

My interests are fashion and makeup, but I also really enjoy walking, especially if it involves a pit stop for cider!
