The Uni-Plain Tile Vent is a discreet ventilating tile suitable for clay and concrete plain tiles with a minimum pitch of 35°. The vent provides 6,000mm2 of ventilation area to help to reduce the buildup of mould growth and structural damage in the roof space, caused by damp, poorly ventilated roofs. The built-in downpipe allows direct ventilation to the roof space, while it can also be used as a terminal for soil and ventilation pipes and mechanical extraction systems too when used with an adaptor. The in-line design makes the vent virtually invisible in the roofline and is available in a wide variety of colours to match the roof tiles.

Installation
- The Uni Plain Tile Vent should be positioned in broken bond format above the course below
- The membrane should be marked and carefully cut at the bottom and side to accommodate the down pipe
- The underlay flap created should be secured to the batten above
- The vent tile can then be nailed into place
- Continue tiling as normal
