Quality roofing materials you can rely on has always been at the heart of our business. That’s why we regularly challenge the performance of our products at our technical centres to ensure our products do what we say they will.
In our latest investigation we tested our popular In Line Double Pantile vent, which currently states a ventilation area of 10,000mm2. However, upon further testing we’re pleased to confirm that its ventilation capabilities over-performed by 10%, actually providing a ventilation area of 11,080mm2.
Furthermore, it's important to us that we test other roofing providers' products, to ensure that we are offering the highest quality products to our customers. Therefore we also tested a recent-to-market product, which is perceived to be an equivalent tile vent to our In Line Double Pantile vent.
At first glance, the two vents may look similar, however, on closer investigation we found that the Klober tile vent has a free ventilation area twice as big. As a result, this means the Klober tile vent provides an incredible 25% more ventilation into the roofspace. This literally means you need less of our vents on the same roof space. Something to consider when comparing price and time taken to install.
Furthermore, we produce 90% of our products in our own wholly owned manufacturing facilities. This means strict quality assurance procedures cover every aspect of product development, from initial prototyping to full production roll-out. This, in addition to checks carried out on a daily basis throughout the production cycle, enables us to supply products with the longest possible design life. This is key to ensuring that installers are using roofing products they can trust and rely on for years to come.
