Economy Dry Ridge Kits: Now with Lugs

You asked, we’ve listened - Klober’s 6m and 10m Economy Dry Ridge Kits now includes ridge seals with fixed lugs for easier installation.

Klober’s Economy Ridge Kit has quickly become a popular product for installers since the launch of the 6m Kit in March 2021, shortly followed by the addition of a 10m Kit later that year, and is known for its value and no-nonsense approach to ridge and hip ventilation. 

Whilst it’s been a solid new addition to the Klober product range, following customer feedback, we’ve made a great kit even better, by introducing a ridge seal with fixed lugs for a quicker, easier installation.

The introduction of the new ridge seal, also referred to as a union, designed with 3 fixed lugs, helps to support our installers, allowing the lugs to sit securely over the top of the ridge tiles and keeping the seal firmly in place when fixing the ridge tiles over the ventilation system. Whilst this may seem like a small change, we know that fixed lugs is about installer preference and we’re sure will be a welcomed change.

Alongside from the new ridge seal, the Economy Dry Ridge Kit is also an all-in-one pack, meaning you have everything required to complete the job, and is available in both 6m or
10m kits. The kits include:

1 x Roll (300 x 6m) 
13 x Ridge to ridge seals
13 x Stainless steel screws and washers (100mm)
13 x Clamping plates
 11 x Ridge batten straps

10m Ridge Kit

1 x Roll (300 x 10m) 
22 x Ridge to ridge seals
22 x Stainless steel screws and washers (100mm)
22 x Clamping plates
17 x Ridge batten straps

The Economy Dry Ridge Kit has also been approved to support the following British Standards compliance: 

BS 8612 for Dry Fix Performance
BS 5250 for Ventilation and the Management of Moisture
BS 5534 for Installation and Mechanical Fixing
