Alongside a number of changes to the Klober Membranes Range this year, we’re excited to announce a new addition to the range - Ultra 120, our new midweight membrane that offers affordable quality; a fantastic membrane for everyday use.
Over the past couple of years we’ve been reviewing our membranes range, and its place and position within the wider market, and we identified that we were in need of a mid-weight everyday offering from our range. Eco 110 sits nicely at the lower weight end of the range at 110g, offering a value breathable membrane solution for cost-conscious projects, and Ultra 145 (formerly Permo Light) was not light by any means, and in fact a strong, high quality everyday membrane - hence the renaming of the product. Between Eco 110 and Ultra 145, we’ve introduced Ultra 120 as a midweight solution, giving additional choice to our merchants and contactors on grammage and cost.
Ultra 120, like most of Klober’s standard pitch membranes, is made up of 3 layers, with a smart, breathable central layer. The top and bottom layers determine the weight of the membrane, determining the levels of tensile strength, nail tear resistance, water column, and essentially the quality of the membrane. Ultra 120, as suggested by it’s name is 120g, making this a great mid-weight membrane for most typical roofing scenarios, and expertly combines value and quality for a solution for everyday use.
